I used these anti-slip stair nosings on external concrete steps which were newly installed and very smooth/slippery when wet. They add excellent grip, just at the right point where shoes make contact, whether ascending or descending. We used the external grade glue to secure them, rather than drilling the new steps. It's working very well, they're stuck very securely. How long the glue will last I dont know, hopefully, a long time? If it fails at any point we'll use screws and rawl plugs. Overall the nosings are an excellent product, reasonably priced and easily installed. I would highly recommend them.
